    The 4th Session of the 3rd Council of the Foundry Equipment Branch of the China Foundry Association was held in Baoding.

     

    On February 25–26, 2017, the fourth session of the third term of the Foundry Equipment Branch of the China Foundry Association was held in Baoding. Leaders from more than 30 member units attended the meeting.


    Secretary-General Wen, Executive Director Xue, and Deputy Secretary-General Gao from the China Foundry Association attended the meeting. Secretary-General Wang, Deputy Secretary-General Chen, and Director Qin from the Foundry Equipment Branch made extensive preparations to ensure the smooth and successful holding of the conference.


    The meeting appointed the Chairman of Baoding Weier Casting Machinery Co., Ltd. as the rotating chairman of the Equipment Branch.


    The meeting heard a situational report from Director Sheng of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Secretary-General Wen gave full recognition to the branch’s work over the past year and expressed his hopes and requirements for the branch’s activities in 2017. Deputy Secretary-General Chen provided a summary of the Equipment Branch’s work in 2016, while Secretary-General Wang delivered a systematic overview of the branch’s work plan for 2017. Through the discussions at the meeting, the key priorities and directions for future work were clearly defined.


    The conference devoted an entire day to lectures delivered by professors from Tsinghua University and well-known industry experts, providing one-on-one guidance on how enterprises can carry out project applications, technological innovation, transformation and upgrading, and financing activities.


    The meeting discussed the “Association Standard for Molding, Flow Coating, and Box Assembly Manipulators,” drafted by Xinan Casting Machinery.


    During the break in the meeting, some delegates visited several production branches of Baoding Weier Casting Machinery Co., Ltd.

    The Kazakhstan project has begun shipping.

    Since last year, Kazakhstan’s FORMAT Company has placed orders with our company for six production lines in succession, with a total contract value exceeding 100 million yuan. The first order included a static-pressure line and its accompanying sand-processing line, both of which have now been completed. Recently, the user’s expert team successfully completed the factory acceptance testing and is about to ship the equipment.

    From May 20 to 23, at the Tianjin International Exhibition Center, our company had a fruitful experience at the 23rd China International Foundry Expo: we signed purchase contracts for four vertical production lines and welcomed nearly 10,000 visitors.

    We’re eager to address our customers’ urgent needs, working day and night.

    On the morning of February 28, 2025, a XZZ417AD shaping line belonging to our client, Suqian Chuba Sports Equipment Co., Ltd., experienced an abnormal operation during production. After diagnosis by our intelligent aftermarket system, it was determined that an imported proportional valve had malfunctioned and needed to be sent back to the factory for repair. To avoid disrupting the customer’s production, our company immediately dispatched a vehicle carrying a new valve to the customer’s site. The valve arrived at 10 p.m. that same evening, and after replacement, the XZZ417AD line resumed normal production without any further issues. The customer’s representative called our sales manager and said, “You truly understand what our customers need! We’re so grateful!”

    Ensure high-quality development with a high level of security.

    On the afternoon of February 6, the company held a general staff meeting. The theme of the meeting was: Ensuring high-level safety to support high-quality development. Comrade Zhang Haijun, Deputy General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presided over the meeting. Comrade Jin Jianhua, General Manager of the company, announced the list of award-winning units and model employees for the year 2024. Comrade Xiao Zhongshu, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the Party Committee, delivered a mobilization speech on safety education and high-quality development. This year, order growth at the start of the year has been relatively rapid—especially for new products that feature advanced intelligence levels. Many departments within the company have already begun working overtime starting from February 1, going all out to ensure both quality and schedule, thereby guaranteeing that all projects will be delivered on time and delivering a satisfactory performance to the market!
